Role Overview

A driven B2G techno-sales professional with experience in government sales, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate technical products into impactful solutions. You’ve sold to public sector clients, managed deals end-to-end, and worked with resellers or system integrators.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End B2G Sales: Lead sales to government bodies, LEAs, defense agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Be the key interface with decision-makers in government and partner organizations, as well as liaise with reseller partners
  • Tender & Procurement: Manage documentation, RFP/RFI responses, empanelment, pricing, and marketplace onboarding.
  • Product Demos & Solutioning: Deliver compelling demos to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Channel Development: Build and manage relationships with resellers, SIs, and Gov. partners.
  • Account Management: Nurture key accounts and maintain sanity of pipeline to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with tech, legal, and product teams for smooth delivery.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor tenders, policy updates, and competitors to keep Hornet ahead.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in B2G techno-sales.
  • Proven experience with government procurement platforms (GeM, NIC, Webel).
  • Familiarity with public sector channel/reseller management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, dashboards, and investigative tools.
  • Willing to travel across India for demos and field engagement, as per business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Cyber Crime Cells, Ministries, PSUs, or Defense.
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology/Business; MBA preferred.
  • Exposure to blockchain, crypto, AML/KYC, or investigative platforms is a strong plus.
