What Is the role?

As a Cyber Security Intern, you will play an active role in supporting the organization’s threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response activities. You will work with open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools, threat feeds, and cybersecurity platforms to collect, analyze, and maintain actionable intelligence. Collaborate with experienced analysts and security engineers to strengthen cyber defense strategies, gain hands-on exposure to real-world threats, and contribute to the development of a secure digital ecosystem.

• Location: Mani Casadona, Kolkata, West Bengal
• Duration: 2 months (with potential for Pre-Placement Offer)

Key Responsibilities

⚬ Collect and monitor data from OSINT platforms, threat feeds, and cybersecurity news sources.

⚬ Perform data cleanup, sanitization, and labeling for accurate analysis.

⚬ Assist in researching emerging threats and identifying potential Indicators of Compromise.

⚬ Support vulnerability assessments and contribute to reporting.

⚬ Track phishing, malware, and ransomware campaigns using OSINT tools.

⚬ Contribute to incident response efforts by gathering and providing supporting intelligence.

⚬ Maintain and update threat intelligence repositories and dashboards.

⚬ Work with the security team to transform raw data into actionable insights.

⚬ Collaborate with senior analysts to enhance threat-hunting methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Skills

  ⚬ Final-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  ⚬ Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerabilities, threats, and malware.

  ⚬ Familiarity with OSINT tools, threat feeds, or open-source cybersecurity frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).

  ⚬ Understanding of fundamental networking and operating system concepts.

  ⚬ Exposure to coding/scripting, with Go (Golang) preferred.
