Role Overview
The Sales Manager will drive sales and business development efforts, focusing on the government and law enforcement sectors. The role requires expertise in liaising with key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration with government departments and law enforcement agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting law enforcement, government clients, and agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, law enforcement, and industry partners.
- Lead the sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
- Liaise with government departments and law enforcement agencies to facilitate business opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create tailored solutions.
- Represent Hornet at industry events, seminars, and conferences to expand the company’s footprint in the law enforcement sector.
Lead Generation & Client Engagement
- Identify and research potential clients within law enforcement agencies and crypto businesses.
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
- Assist in sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to convert leads into customers.
- Travel to client locations as needed for sales meetings.
- Track and manage leads in CRM software and ensure timely follow-ups.
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience insights.
- Stay updated on crypto-related news worldwide.
- Provide insights and suggestions to optimize sales strategies.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, key metrics, and conversion rates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales, B2B, or business development, with a focus on government sales.
- Proven experience in liaising with government agencies and law enforcement.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, forensics, and cryptocurrency sectors is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, social media, email marketing, and basic graphic design tools is an advantage.
